Apple’s new campus, named Apple Park, contains more trees than people. Included in the 9000 trees on the site are 37 varieties of fruit trees. The goal is to grow 20% of the fruit consumed on the campus. Many of the existing trees from the construction site were dug up, held, and transplanted to their new homes. An article talking about the Apple Tree Whisperer, Dave Muffly, and the story of the process can be found at Wired. Dave will be the keynote speaker for the evening program at FOF.
